iOBD2 BMW APP introduction

iOBD2-BMW is a professional diagnostic app for reading all compatible electronic
control units of BMW series cars.You can see the identification, read trouble code clear trouble code, read the data stream of each ECU. Besides the OBD2 codes, you can read the BMW specific codes. What’s more,you can reset the oil service light,brake, spark plugs, brake fluid, etc.

There are five menus in the iOBD2-BMW app.

●Diagnosis
●Service reset
●History record
●Information

 

Connection

In this menu, you can select the connection mode,
Bluetooth or WiFi, according to
which mode your adapter supports.
After that, you will select your car models.




Diagnosis

In the Diagnosis, you will see a list of ECU.Press thebutton, it will scan the systems If there is no trouble code in the system it will appear thebutton. If there is a trouble code in the system, it will appear thebutton. If there is no such a system on your car, thebutton will appear.When accessing a system, you can find the ECU information read/clear fault code, and see the datastream.




Service reset

In the Service reset, you will find
quite some options, such as oil
light resetting, microfilter light
resetting, brake resetting, spark
plug light resetting, etc.



History

In the History menu, you can check
the trouble code and datastream that saved.






Information

In this menu, you can find information on how to set the
Bluetooth connection.

iOBD2 BMW Bluetooth Setting and Software Activation

Bluetooth Setting

Firstly, plug the iOBD2-BMW adapter into the car diagnostic socket. Turn on Bluetooth on the mobile. Find
iOBD2-BMW device and pair it with the phone by inputting code 0000. Click OK to finish.

Software Activation

Open iOBD2-BMW software, as Picture(left), input serial number of iOBD2-BMW in SN column, for example,
iOBD2-30676. The serial number is on iOBD2 adapter as Picture(Right) and its package box. After inputting the serial
number, click Activate button to activate the software.

iOBD2 BMW Diagnostic Tool

iOBD2 BMW is iOBD2 Dignostic Tool specific version for BMW Vehicles.iOBD2 For BMW support Both iOS system and Android system.Supported device includes iPhone,iPad,iPod Touch and Android SmartPhone,Tablet PC.Connect by Bluetooth.

iOBD2 BMW Function:

1. iOBD2 support BMW car model all system diagnose, including Engine, ABS, Airbag, Transmission and so on.
2. iOBD2 BMW support OBDII/EOBD protocols car diagnose.
3. iOBD2 BMW support SI-Reset.
4. Record car data like engine speed, ignition time, fuel correction, fuel consumption, coolant temperature
5. EVAP System Test: The purpose of this service is to enable the external test equipment to control the operation of an on-board system, test or component.
6. Read vehicle info: Read vehicle info such as Vehicle Identification Number(VIN), Calibration IDs(CALID) and Calibration Verification Number (CVN).
7. Sensor test: This service is to allow access to the on-board oxygen sensor monitoring test results. The same information may be obtained by the use of [Mode 6 test].
8. Mode 6 test: This service is to allow access to the results for on-board diagnostic monitoring tests of specific components/systems that are not continuously monitored. Examples are catalyst monitoring and the evaporative system monitoring.
9. Emissions Testing: Read and clear diagnostic trouble codes. IM Readiness status
